Vision

ReSkur is more than just a shed. It is a service offered to support our everyday lives around the shed. At the same time we want to show the building industry that we, by thinking and working differently together, we can change the way we build for future generations.
Tomorrow all secondary buildings should be build from quality materials wasted in building renovations and demolitions today.
With ReSkur we want to introduce a new circular shed typology in the marked providing real estate owners, and their stakeholders and users, the opportunity of an easy first step into a green transition. ReSkur will offer different services supporting the users “life around the shed”. We will hereby create a strong platform for other resource efficient strategies in a shared economy for alle users to benefit from. By introducing ReSkur we want everybody to see and feel that the transition to a sustainable society is both, feasible, durable and very attractive.

Short description

ReSkur is a high quality shed building system for household, municipal and office buildings providing unheated storage space (waste fractions, bicycles, etc.) build from recycled roof materials. These waste fractions of high-quality building materials has an estimated future lifetime of 50-200 years and are today downcycled and crushed into landfill or used for heating.

The demand for unheated storage- and shelterspace is increasing as is also the demand for integrated services optimizing it´s use (electrical charging, data on use, space, weather, maintanence etc.). Sheds available in the marked today are often ugly, unattractive, unenvironmental and rather stupid. They typically have a short life cycle and are unintegrated in the surroundings both socially and contextually.
ReSkur is beautiful, functional sustainable, and durable. It has a modern design with inspirations from the heritage building culture fitted to danish weather conditions and build from durable materials such as clay pantiles, natural slates, pinetree wood rafters etc. that has a life cycle of 200-400 years and ages with beauty.

Winning CCC gives us an important opportunity to accelerate the process of innovation needed to rethink and optimize the entire value chain and challenge the way we traditionally work and innovate in the building industry.
With this prize we will soon be able to offer all real estate owners a strong value adding and service minded shed. A solution that doesn’t compromise between the economical, social and environmental values, but rather shows that the attractive solution on all parameters is also the beautiful and inspirational one.
